Track 4 Recipients

Track 4 Grants are intended to support  programs and events with a focus on improving musculoskeletal health access, patient education and outcomes.

  • Ponce Medical School Foundation - $15,000
    • The grant will expand musculoskeletal health access and education for rural and underserved communities in southern and central Puerto Rico. This initiative will advance workforce development, improve patient outcomes, and reduce longstanding disparities in orthopaedic care for Puerto Rico’s most vulnerable populations.
  • University of California San Francisco - $12,455
    • The grant will support research in delay of care factors in surgery for distal radius fractures, particularly among patients with public insurance and non-English speaking patients. The work will lay the foundation to improve diagnosis and care for affected patients.
