As a Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
The AAOS ROCK curriculum has been extremely helpful. Whether preparing for cases, a lecture, or just studying basic orthopedic knowledge, it is my main resource and a great tool for residents
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I've been given comes from my parents, who taught me that through hard work and belief in yourself you can do hard things and accomplish things you once never thought possible.
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
You just have to start. Start by knocking out the smallest task that takes only a couple minutes, then go onto the next one. It's easy to get discouraged, but taking this bit by bit helps me be more productive.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Right now, I am working on playing soccer once per week. That used to be my main sport and ever since the World Cup I've been trying to get back into it!
What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Walking my dog along the riverwalk and working out.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I played one professional arena football game as a kicker as a 3rd year medical student.
