Are the webinars ever replayed?

Typically webinars are replayed 7 to 10 days after live viewing. Keep in mind, if you are interested in the webinar replay, you must be registered prior to the live date.

How do I claim, update, or print my CME transcripts?

The Academy is committed to providing the CME resources you need to plan and manage your Maintenance of Certification process. Log in to the AAOS Learning Portfolio to view your earned credits by event and year and check what you need to complete. 

Choose from a wide range of AAOS education offerings to fulfill your CME requirements.

How can I add non-AAOS credits to my transcript?

For your convenience, there is an option to add non-AAOS CME credits to the Learning Portfolio helping you track your credits in one place. However, you are required to upload your certificates of completion. These credits and certificates will be shared with the ABOS daily.

  1. Log in to the AAOS Learning Portfolio.
  2. Click on "Add Non-AAOS CME Credits" to update your transcript with additional credits earned elsewhere
  3. Complete required information

How long does it take for Annual Meeting CME credits to appear on my transcript?

After the Annual Meeting, CME processing may take up to 2 weeks to complete before appearing on your transcript.

Where can I view progress of my current ABOS Maintenance of Certification (MOC)?

How do I claim the full 70 CME credits for the Orthopaedic Knowledge Update 15®: Print and SAE Package?

When you purchase the OKU 15: Print and SAE Package from our business partner Wolters Kluwer, you can earn up to a maximum of 70 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. To qualify for the 70 CME credits, the OKU 15 book and SAE exam must be purchased as a package, not as separate components.

  2. OKU 15 book ships with a redemption card, code and instructions
  3. Visit OKU 15 SAE page to redeem exam access code http://www.aaos.org/OKU15ExamAccess/ (View notes 4 & 5)
  4. Note: If you have not redeemed the exam access code, log on to above page and follow link to REDEEM ACCESS CODE
  5. Note: If you have previously redeemed the access code or purchased the exam directly from AAOS, log in at https://learn.aaos.org/ and find exam on “Dashboard” or click “My Activities”
  6. Successfully complete OKU 15 Self-Assessment Examination online
  7. Complete and submit exam evaluation form
  8. Claim CMEs which appear as two separate line items (View notes 9 & 10)
  9. Note: 50 CME for OKU 15 Book
  10. Note: 20 SAE CME for OKU 15 Self-Assessment Examination
  11. Click “Submit”; the full 70 CME are now processed to your AAOS transcript

How do I claim the CME credits I earned for the ABOS WLA?

The WLA is approved for 8 CME credits per year of participation which will be added to the AAOS portion of your transcript approximately 4-6 weeks after the close of the activity (which was extended to June 1 this year). Once we receive a participant list from ABOS after the close, we add the credits to your transcript and then send out an e-mail notifying you that the credits have been added. All you will have to do is go to your AAOS transcript and claim the credit. Then it will be uploaded to the ABOS website.
